In September 2017, both the Economy Report and the Employee well-being had positive trends compared to the same period last year. The indicator reflecting the state the Economy Report recorded a 9% increase, while Employee Well-being increased by 7%. Wages have fallen by 11%, while the number of employees has increased by a smaller percentage of 3% compared to the same period of 2016.
In terms of Employee Well-being, in September 2017, bonuses increased by 7%. The number of days of rest leave increased by 8%, and the number of days of sick leave also experienced the same positive trend compared to the similar period last year, of about 7%.
The percentages underlying Workforce Smartree Index September 2017 are based on data analyzed by Smartree from over 200 multinational and local companies, with a total of over 600,000 employees and an aggregate turnover of over 2.5 billion euro.
