In the fourth quarter of 2016, both the Economy Report and Employee Well-being, the two indicators of Smartree Workforce Index, recorded an evolution, compared to the same period last year.
Thus, in the fourth quarter 2016, the Economy Report registered a growth of 13.75% over the same period last year, while the Employee Well-being had an advance of 6.30%.
Wages also rose at a rate of nearly 10%, compared to Q4 2015, while the number of employees increased significantly by 17.80% more than the same period last year.
Regarding the Employee Well-being, bonuses recorded an advance of 21.25%, compared to the fourth quarter of last year. The number annual leaves has increased by 12.11%, as the number of medical leaves, with 14.47% more than the quarter 4-2015.
The percentages underlying Workforce Smartree Index October 2016 are based on data analyzed by Smartree from over 200 multinational and local companies, with a total of over 450,000 employees and a cummulated turnover of over 2.5 billion euro. The data is anonymous and represent an indicator of the economic health, based on real time registration and measurement of the relevant changes in the labor market. See index methodology here.
