In November 2017, the Economy Report declined for the first time this year, with -2% decrease compared to the same month last year. The indicator that reflects the Employee Well-being increased by almost 15%. The negative evolution of the Economy Report was determined by the wages’ drop by -15% over the same period last year. However, the employee number had the same positive trend that has taken place throughout the entire year, recording an increase of 10%.
In terms of Employee Well-being, in November 2017, bonuses increased by 21%. The number of days of rest leave decreased by 3%, while days of sick leave were 26% above the average of November 2016.
The percentages underlying Workforce Smartree Index November 2017 are based on data analyzed by Smartree gathered from over 200 multinational and local companies, with a total of over 600,000 employees and an aggregate turnover of over 2.5 billion euro.
