In May 2017, the Economy Report had a positive trend compared to May 2016. Therefore, this indicator has registered an increase by 9,25% compared to the same period last year, while the Employee Well-Being has slowly decreased by -0,6%.
The wages decreased by -3% for the first time this year, while the employee number had an advance by approximately 14% over the same period of 2016.
In terms of Employee Well-Being, in May 2017 the bonuses have slightly decreased by -0,6%. The number of days of annual leave have decreased by -5%, while the number of sick days has grown by 9%, compared to the same period last year.
The percentages underlying Workforce Smartree Index May 2017 are based on data analyzed by Smartree gathered from over 200 multinational and local companies, with a total of over 550,000 employees and an aggregate turnover of over 2.5 billion euro.
