In January 2017 the Economy Report and the Employee Well-being had a positive trend compared to January 2016. The Economy Report registered a growth of 18.16%, compared to the same period last year, while the Employee Well-being grew by 10,43%.
Wages also rose at a rate of nearly 27.36%, while the number of employees had a lead of about 9% over the same period of 2016.
Regarding the Employee Well-being, in January 2016 bonuses increased strongly, by 24,10% compared to January 2016. The number of annual leaves increased by 24,16%, while the number of sick days increased by 16, 96% compared to the same period.
The percentages underlying Workforce Smartree Index January 2017 are based on data analyzed by Smartree from over 200 multinational and local companies, with a total of over 450,000 employees and a cumulated turnover of over 2.5 billion euro.
