In February 2017, the Economy Report had a positive trend compared to February 2016, while the Employee Well-being decreased compared to the same period last year. The Economy Report increased by 10% compared to February 2016, while the Employee Well-being has dropped 30% due to lower bonuses granted.
Wages increased by 10%, while the employee number had the highest growth of all the indicators analyzed, of about 15% over the same period in 2016.
Regarding Employee Well-being, in February 2017 bonuses declined for the first time in one year, by 30% below the average of February 2016. The number of days of annual leave increased by 11%, while the number of sick days remained relatively constant compared to the same period.
The percentages underlying Workforce Smartree Index January 2017 are based on data analyzed by Smartree gathered from over 200 multinational and local companies, with a total of over 550,000 employees and a cumulated turnover of over 2.5 billion euro.
