During December 2017, both the Economy Report and the Employee Well-Being had positive evolution compared to the same period last year. The indicator that reflects the Economy Report increased by 5%, while the Employee Well-being registered an increase of 3%. The wages remained mainly the same during the last month of 2017 compared to the same period last year, while the number of employees increased by 10%.
In terms of Employee Well-being, at the beginning of December, the bonuses have increased by 25%. The number of days of rest leave decreased by 20%, while the number of days of sick leave were 6% above the average of December 2016.
The percentages underlying Workforce Smartree Index December 2017 are based on data analyzed by Smartree gathered from over 200 multinational and local companies, with a total of over 600,000 employees and an aggregate turnover of over 2.5 billion euro.
