In August 2017, the Economy Report had a positive evolution compared to the same period last year, recording a 7% increase, while Employee Well-being fell by an almost similar percentage of -9%.
The wages declined by -4%, while the number of employees had an advance of approximately 11% over the same period of 2016.
Regarding Employee Well-being, bonuses dropped by -9% in August. The number of days of rest leave decreased by 16%, while the number of days of sick leave also experienced a negative trend compared to the same period last year, about – 13%.
The percentages underlying Workforce Smartree Index August 2017 are based on data analyzed by Smartree gathered from over 200 multinational and local companies, with a total of over 600,000 employees and an aggregate turnover of over 2.5 billion euro.
