In April 2017, the Economy Report increased by 9% compared to April last year. The wages had an advance of almost 2% while the number of employees increased by 12% compared to the same period in 2016.
After two consecutive months of downwards, the Employee Well-Being has increased for the first time by 36% compared to April 2017. This increase was mainly due to both bonuses growth by a similar percentage as well as to the increase by 43% of the annual leave compared to the same period last year. The number of sick days increased far less, by only 2%.
The percentages underlying Workforce Smartree Index April 2017 are based on data analyzed by Smartree gathered from over 200 multinational and local companies, with a total of over 550,000 employees and an aggregate turnover of over 2.5 billion euro.
