Smartree, one of the leaders in the Romanian HR outsourcing market, recorded a 15% increase in turnover in the first three months of this year, compared to the same period in 2016.
Thus, the company’s business reached 3 million euros in the first quarter of 2017, compared to 2.6 million euros in the previous year. The advance of Smartree’s turnover was due, on one hand, to a higher demand for payroll and on the other hand, to the increase of temporary staffing.
“Of all the business units, the highest growth, about 19%, was recorded on the temporary work segment. The companies, but also the employees, have noticed the advantages of this working model and are using it more and more”, said Adrian Stanciu, Smartree CEO.
Payroll was another high-demand service in the first quarter of this year. This segment also recorded an increase within company’s business compared to the same period last year.
“Outsourcing of payroll services has become a necessity, but also a strategic decision for most of the companies. More and more companies are focusing on Smartree’s security and confidentiality procedures and security systems: audit and compliance, back-up plan, disaster recovery plan, business continuity plan. At the same time, Smartree has continuously developed new modules and functionalities to support modern HR processes. Thus, we have increased our revenues on this segment following the implementation of new MyStaff modules such as: recruitment, training, expenses”, said Adrian Stanciu.
In terms of forecasts for the current year, Smartree estimates a 30% increase in turnover.
In 2016, Smartree registered a turnover of approximately EUR 12 million, about 30% upper compared to 2015. The business growth was supported by a 10% increase in the number of clients in the portfolio. On the other hand, the company recorded a 40% increase in temporary working revenues and a 20% increase in payroll revenue.
